Study structure
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree study programs in the field of Cybernetics are harmonized with the Internal Quality System of the University of Žilina (UNIZA), which is subject to approval by the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Universities.
- In the 1st study degree (bachelor's studies) there is accreditation for the full-time study program in Automation with a standard length of study of 3 years, provided in the Slovak language.
- In the 2nd degree (master’s study) there is accreditation for the full-time study program in Process Control with a standard length of study of 2 years, provided in the Slovak language. It is assumed that the applicant has completed a bachelor’s degree study in Automation or another study program in a related field of study.
- In the 3rd degree (doctoral study) there is accreditation for the study program in Process Control, in the full-time form with a standard length of study of 3 years and the part-time form with a standard length of study of 4 years, both provided either in Slovak or English language. It is assumed that the applicant has completed a master’s degree study in Process Control or another study program in a related field of study.
